Actress Ana de Armas has opened up about a particularly emotional stunt scene in her film, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, where she had to use a flamethrower to take down her enemies. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, de Armas revealed that she broke down in tears before filming the intense scene.

"I remember the first day the stunt team was practicing with the fire, and they told me to go do it before the shoot, and I said, 'No, no, no, I'll be fine,'" de Armas recalled. "They got the main fire guy that gets burned, and he's all covered in this sticky grease or whatever they put for protection, and they're like, 'Okay, go ahead. Just burn him.' And I did, and I started crying."

The actress, who plays Eve, an assassin trained by the Ruska Roma, explained that it was an emotional experience for her, even though it was just a stunt. "It was really emotional," de Armas said. "I've never seen anyone burning, even though it's fake."

De Armas also praised the stunt team, saying that she was amazed by their bravery. "I burned like a hundred people," she said. "I'm glad I practiced the day before, and I cried the day before. But it's amazing to see what [the stunt performers] do — I can't believe you guys put yourself through this. It's unbelievable."

The film, which is set to release on June 6, also stars Keanu Reeves, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, and Ian McShane.
