Sex and the City star Kristin Davis has finally put to rest rumors that have been circulating for decades about her relationship with co-star Chris Noth. In a recent Instagram post, Davis clarified that she and Noth never dated, putting an end to the speculation that has been going on for years.

The Rumors Started on Set

The rumors about Davis and Noth's alleged relationship started on the set of Sex and the City, where they played the roles of Charlotte York and Mr. Big, respectively. The rumors gained more traction when Megan Thee Stallion appeared on Davis' podcast, Are You A Charlotte?, and expressed her dislike for Noth's on-again, off-again character, Mr. Big.

Davis Sets the Record Straight

When a fan asked Davis if the rumors were true, Davis promptly replied, "No i didn't!!!" Davis also shared a clip of her discussion with Megan Thee Stallion, where the rapper said, "I hate Big." Davis' response was met with gratitude from the fan, who said, "omg I have been lied to thank you for setting me straight!! i even googled this and there are several links saying you did i swear i didn't make this up."

The And Just Like That... Premiere

In the And Just Like That... premiere in 2021, Carrie and Mr. Big are shown to be in wedded bliss, but their happiness is short-lived when Mr. Big suffers a fatal heart attack after a 45-minute ride on his at-home Peloton bike.

Shortly after the episode aired, Noth was accused of sexually assaulting multiple women, which he denied. Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Cynthia Nixon issued a joint statement, saying, "We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences."
