Get ready for a spook-tacular treat as Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz, the real-life couple and former Halloweentown costars, are set to star in a new film, "Haul Out the Halloween", a third installment in Hallmark's fan-favorite "Haul Out the Holly" film series.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2024, will play new neighbors, Luna and Marvin, opposite Lacey Chabert, Wes Brown, Melissa Peterman, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Ellen Travolta, who will reprise their roles as Emily, Jared, Pamela, Ned, and Mary Louise, respectively.
In a video shared by Chabert on Instagram, the cast teased the forthcoming film, with Chabert writing, "What a dream to return to Evergreen Lane!"
The film's official plot synopsis states, "For a neighborhood as renowned for its spectacular holiday displays as Evergreen Lane, the street has long been modest when it comes to Halloween. But when fun and spooky new neighbors, Luna and Marvin move to the block, Emily, Jared, and the rest of the HOA agree to get in on the seasonal fun and launch EverSCREAM Lane to fundraise for a local charity."
The film is based on characters created by Andy Sandberg and a story crafted by Christopher Sey and Maclain Nelson, who also directed and wrote the script. Alexandre Coscas and Michael Goldstein are executive producers, along with Chabert, while David Wulf is a producer.
Chabert expressed her excitement about working with Brown and Kountz, saying, "Kimberly and Daniel have been dear friends for many years. When we started on this third movie, set during Halloween, I just knew that they would be the perfect addition to this hilariously funny cast."
"Haul Out the Halloween" will air on Hallmark Channel during Fall into Love 2025 later this year.
